I only got this yesterday as I was passing through Manchester on my way to the Take That concert (and it was AMAZING by the way!) and I am hooked already!! I made a slight detour into Boots and luckily the Manchester store had the Lanolips range in store.
I've been wanting to try these lip ointments for ages and I have heard nothing but good things about them. With over 60% of medical grade lanolin, they are extremely moisturising as well as providing a slight hint of colour. They don't smell of anything in particular but they do feel lovely and silky on your lips. I chose the Rose version and as they were on 3 for 2, Nic and Caroline (another friend) picked one each. We actually all went for the same colour as it looked so nice on the SA.
If you are looking to try these ointments, they are carried in larger Boots stores or online at Boots.com where the 3 for 2 is still applicable. I want to try the Lemonaid version but they are out of stock both in the shop yesterday and online. Booooo! I'm sure you will be hearing more about Lanolips from me. I can feel an obsession blooming.
I've got the Apples one after reading about it on Get Lippie's blog. I LOVE it and really want to try the rest of the range. The Lemonaid one sounds great too.
ReplyDeleteI love the way beauty came before the Take That concert! I have the apple and rhubard and it is surprising actually how much colour they give. Lemon is my favourite fruit/scent so it is a shame they are sold out otherwise I'd have rushed to buy. I do like Lanolips a lot and use daily, but somehow my lips still chap. I think I'm forever cursed! x
ReplyDelete@Lou Lou - I was looking at the Apples one. Such a lovely colour. The Lemonaid one actually has a scent. Which the others don't. No wonder it was sold out!! x
ReplyDelete@Jennifer - You wait till you see what else I got. It was a very purposeful trip, not just to see the fab five! LOL It says on Boots.com they are awaiting stock. Hope they come back in before the 3 for 2 ends! Does your local Boots stock them?? x
I like the look of the Lemonaid one too but it's a bit difficult to find, my Boots didn't have it in either.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had fun at your concert x
I actually have been using Lansinoh for Breastfeeding Mothers (yup nipple cream) as a lip balm (which is 100% ultra pure medical grade lanolin) as my lip balm for the last 1.5 yrs and haven't had chapped lips since! It's fabulous and really affordable too. It really is a great multi use product and I wished I'd discovered it's other true calling with my first child!
ReplyDeleteLip Ointment? Sounds great! I have no idea when this or anything like this will be launched in India! :( I'm a new follower
ReplyDeleteBTW, Do visit my blog and enter my giveaway!:)
Sadly I don't think this is available in the US
ReplyDeleteLemonaid is lovely and you have just reminded me that Em has nicked it, must get it back! x
