April Empties

  • L'Occitane 20% Shea butter hand cream - Love it, already have a backup!
  • Revlon Colorstay foundation - While I have recently been testing out other foundations, I will come back to this and have a backup in stock.
  • Diesel Loverdose EDP - Besotted! I have backup's!
  • The Body Shop Hemp moisture high balm - I suffer with some very dry skin on my body and when I saw this in TBS January sale, I though it would be good to try.  To be honest, I don't really rate it.  I didn't think it was especially moisturising, I just found it to be really greasy and the smell was vile! I won't purchase this again.  I've already gone back to my Palmers Cocoa butter that seems to do the trick for me and it smells fantastic.
  • Lacura Corrector pen - Found this to be okay. It worked fine, but I won't be in a rush to repurchase.
  • Cargo LashActivator - Again another okay product.  I liked the brush and the formula was average, there are just other mascara's that I prefer.  I think it's unlikely that I'll buy this again.
  • Urban Decay Primer Potion in Sin - Another love!  I really liked the 'Sin' version that gave just a little touch of champagne shimmer to my eyes,  that sometimes I'd wear it alone without any shadow over it.  I'll certainly buy this again when I have used the regular UDPP's I have in my drawer.
  • MAC Lipgelee in Lust is Lush - This has been hanging around for a while and given that orange/coral is on trend for Spring/Summer I thought it was a good opportunity to use it up.  Nice enough, but not a wow for me.  Unlikely to repurchase.
  • Estee Lauder Time Zone eye cream - A decent sample of eye cream, but I probably won't repurchase.
  • Simple eye makeup remover - Really like this and have already repurchased.

What have you used up this month?

  1. Loverdose is nowhere to be found in my area, and it kills me! I hate to buy a fragrance without smelling it first, but Loverdose sounds like the perfect scent for me. I'm jealous!

    1. Oh no! I hate when that happens. I'm the same, I really wouldn't want to spend the money on a hunch. I'll be sure to keep my eye out for any samples of it, then I can send it your way.

  2. I lovvvve these kinds of posts. Actually finishing up a product is so gratifying. I'm impressed you finished up that entire TBS hemp balm! It takes me ages to work my way through balms. Check out my blog, which is centered entirely on reviews of products I've used up:

    1. I really like finishing up products. For too long I've been stocking up without using what I actually have. It feels very zen (haha!) getting rid of the empty containers. Honestly, the balm was awful and it smelled weird! Not for me!! Of course I'll pop over to your blog. I like looking at what other people have finished. I'm nosy like that ;o)
